This Privacy Policy outlines Parade of Paints Inc. practices in regard to the personal information of our
contractors, Industrial manufacturers, customers, suppliers and visitors to our store or website
www.paradeofpaints.com , as well as those who may correspond with us through telephone, Internet,

Parade of Paints Inc. takes your privacy seriously. Therefore, we have taken the following measures to

Your personal information is only retained for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out above.
When the information is no longer needed, we destroy the information by shredding it. There are legal
requirements that may require us to retain some personal information for longer than we might
otherwise hold it (i.e. Canada Revenue Agency). Once the legal requirements are met, the information
is shredded.

CONTRACTORS/INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURERS:
As part of our daily business operations, we may collect and use information about contractors and
industrial manufacturers who conduct business with us or hold an account with us. This information
includes: name, address, email addresses, telephone numbers and sometimes credit card information.
Credit card information may be used to reconcile monthly billings on account, and is only kept by us at
your request. This information is only used by authorized personnel for the purpose in which it was
intended. Our contractor/industrial manufacturers are encouraged to keep the information that we hold
on them up to date to ensure its accuracy. This information is never shared or sold by Parade of Paints
Inc. If at any time you would like to remove your information, please contact our privacy officer, and we
will be happy to comply with your request.
RETAIL/CURBSIDE CUSTOMERS:
Some regular retail customers request that we keep their credit card information on file to reconcile
monthly billing accounts. This credit card information is only kept at the customer’s request and is only
used by authorized personnel for the purpose in which it was intended. Our retail customers are
encouraged to keep the information that we hold on them up to date to ensure its accuracy. This
information is never shared or sold by Parade of Paints Inc. If at any time you would like to remove
your information, please contact our privacy officer, and we will be happy to comply with your request.
All other credit card payments for curbside customers are entered directly for processing into our
terminal. Any credit card information that is written down is immediately shredded after the credit card
has been processed. It is never kept or stored by Parade of Paints Inc.

WHEN WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION:
On occasion retail customers may inquire about professional painters/contractors to assist with projects
around their home. Upon request, we may share public domain contact information on professional
painters/contractors to fulfill customer requests.
On occasion Parade of Paints Inc. may be listed as a credit reference by a contractor or industrial
manufacturer for credit application at another location. If this information is requested, it is never
provided verbally. A hard copy of a formal credit request form is always requested. Credit request
information may include: Date account was opened, last transaction date, highest credit extended,
payment terms, credit limit, present balance and number of past due payments and whether Parade of
Paints Inc. would recommend extending credit to the customer. This information is only provided at
your request by listing Parade of Paints Inc. as a reference.
Parade of Paints Inc. does not sell, or disclose your personal information. We only share your
information if you have given us your consent to do so. We may also be required to share information if
legally required to do so (i.e. law, regulations, search warrant, subpoena or court order), or in the event
that we sell, transfer or otherwise dispose of our business.
Parade of Paints Inc. takes every precaution to protect your privacy. We implement physical and
organizational safe guards to keep your information protected. Any information held by us concerning
you can be accessed by making a written request to our Privacy Officer.
